In February the year 7 students made pots out of newspaper and potted some salad leaves, chilies and tomato seeds. They have been putting together a garden as part of their enrichment and below are some of the rewards of their efforts.
The gardening team have also planted some delicious peppery radishes and made a simple salad with the main part and used the greens in a chana masala dish. Instead of using coriander to garnish, they’ve used the radish stalks. This was accompanied with roti and a homemade lemon pickle.
Well done to the year 7 gardening team for their hard work and to Mrs Ernestine and Ms Patel for all their help!
