On Thursday 11 November, the charity Artists in Residents (AiR) and Alperton Community School students participated in the Wembley Art Trail launch together with Brent Council.
Two colourful pedestrian crossings were unveiled alongside a vibrant new shop front and a large mural. AiR has worked with the council and local community to produce these public art pieces. Design workshops took place in autumn 2020 with over 700 local students and community members participating. The artwork, funded by developer contributions, will further add to the vibrancy of Wembley and Ealing Road.
