We are very pleased to announce that Ms Balasingam has been shortlisted in the “New Teacher of the Year” category for the TES School Awards 2019. It is amazing to be nominated for the third consecutive year for an award by such a prestigious organisation. In 2017 we won the ‘Maths Team of the Year’ award and last year we were nominated in the “Secondary School of the year” category. This is a fantastic achievement for our school and it reflects the hard work and commitment our teachers put in to the profession.
TES Schools Awards celebrates the extraordinary commitment, quality and innovation shown by teachers and support staff across the UK. It promotes teachers, schools and departments who are raising the standards of education by making a positive impact on the personal and academic success of the students and the wider community.
The winners will be announced on Friday 21st June 2019 during a special ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel! Fingers crossed for another ACS success. Good luck Ms Balasingam!
