On Saturday, 12 October, Alperton students took part in a community clean-up organised by Wembley Central & Alperton Residents’ Association (WCARA) and Brent Council.
The event was a great opportunity for students to network and learn about different organisations. They did a wonderful job cleaning up the roads in the surrounding area, including Mount Pleasant open space. The organisers intend to pursue this particular hotspot with Brent Council to ensure sufficient resources are available to clean and maintain this alleyway and park on a regular basis.
Wembley Central & Alperton Residents’ Association (WCARA) goals are to improve the environment in which we live in and they are working together with ACS to promote this message across the community.
