Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Evening on Thursday 21 November. We were delighted to welcome so many students and parents to the event and to receive such excellent feedback.

The event was hosted by two of our current 6th form students Tariq and Aliza, who opened the evening with an engaging speech about their educational journey and future aspirations and how Alperton Sixth Form has been able to support them. They were particularly grateful for the continued support and advice the teachers and pastoral team have provided, but also for the numerous opportunities available at Alperton, that include not only learning opportunities, but also a wide range of enrichment activities, societies, clubs, national and international trips, leadership and entrepreneurial activities and much more.

The guests were then invited to hear presentations from our Headteacher Mr Dixon and Head of Sixth Form Ms Zaraat, who provided more information about our facilities, our extensive course options and enrichment programme, as well as our outstanding examination results and student destinations, including fantastic careers our students embark on after leaving Alperton Sixth Form.

One of these incredible careers was secured by our former student Corey Date, who was invited to speak on the evening. Corey is currently enrolled on a very successful apprenticeship with the prestigious accounting firm Deloitte and was delighted to be back at Alperton to share with the audience his success story and how grateful he is for all the help and support he received whilst at Alperton.

The visitors also had the opportunity to take a tour of the school to explore the various subjects and meet some of our current Year 12 and 13 students as well as teachers and other members of staff who were able to offer further advice and guidance and answered questions about our course options and the sixth form application process.
It was a successful evening and we look forward to meet many of you next year as part of our Sixth Form.
