Alperton Community School has produced another excellent set of results at GCSE. This year we have again improved our attainment score and increased the number of students achieving the highest grades. The GCSE results for the most able students were exceptional with over 22% of grades awarded at Grade 7 and above.

The progress students have made since their primary school is excellent. The school has achieved a continued increase in the percentage of students achieving grades 5 above in English and maths. 40% of students achieved above their expected grade in English and 43% above their expected grade in maths.

Special congratulations to Manav for achieving nine Grade 9 in English literature, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, further maths, history, Spanish and statistics and one Grade 8 in English Language, Kush who achieved eight Grade 9s, Swati who achieved seven Grade 9s and a host of other students with their own success stories. The students all commented on how happy they were with their results and many took the opportunity to thank the teachers for all their support over the years.

Christopher Dixon, Headteacher, said: “We are thrilled with these fantastic results; our students should justifiably be proud of their achievements. Thank you to all the staff who have supported, encouraged and guided our students to achieve these outcomes and the parents and community who have supported them along the way. Many of our students will of course remain with us as they progress to our Sixth Form and so we look forward to sharing their next stage of their journey through A Levels.”.
