A big thank you to everyone who attended our Sixth Form Open Evening last night. The event was a great success and provided an excellent opportunity for our guests to discover the high-quality education, supportive environment, and diverse opportunities that make our Sixth Form such a fantastic place to continue the next stage of their educational journey.
The guests had the opportunity to explore our departments, try out activities and speak with our subject specialists as well as our current sixth form students to find out more about our course and subjects on offer and to experience the vibrant atmosphere of our Sixth Form.
The evening included presentations from our Headteacher Mr Christopher Dixon and Head of Sixth Form Ms Zaraat, who spoke about our excellent A Level results, and impressive student destinations, including top Russell Group universities and high-level apprenticeships. They also emphasized the wealth of opportunities available to students beyond the classroom, including a wide range of societies, leaderships roles and international trips, as well as the extensive academic and pastoral support provided by our dedicated sixth form team to help every student achieve their full potential.
Prospective students and their families also heard from our Head boy and Head girl, who shared their personal education journeys and spoke about the invaluable support they had received during their time at Alperton. Their reflection offered a valuable insight into the Sixth Form experience and the positive impact of the school community.
Adding further inspiration to the evening was the chance to hear the success stories of some of our alumni, such as our former student Nabiha who is now in her first year of her dentistry degree. These achievements highlight the many opportunities available to students and the strong foundation the school provides for future success.
A huge thank you to all staff, students, student leaders and alumni who contributed to making the evening such a success and helped showcase the very best of our Sixth Form.
If you wish to join our diverse, friendly and ambitious sixth form community, please visit our sixth form admissions page for more information on how to apply.
