On Wednesday, 19 March, students from Year 7 to Year 10 at Alperton Community School staged an outstanding production of Peter Pan JR to a live audience. With over 50 students participating, the performance showcased the incredible talent within our school. The vibrant, creative energy and passion from the performers were evident, making the evening a truly memorable experience for all who attended.

A big shout out to the dedicated Performing Arts team, Ms. Ernestine, Ms. Smith, Ms. Fretwell and Ms. Lakhani, whose hard work and support helped nurture the confidence and skills of our students throughout the rehearsal process. Their guidance not only helped students develop as performers but also contributed to an exceptional display of teamwork and creativity.

Thank you to Mr. Steenson for designing our poster, Ms. Thompson and the sixth form Textiles students for making Captain Hook’s jacket, the Lost Boys’ costumes, and Peter Pan’s dazzling hat, and to Dr. Laborie who took the most amazing photos of the performance and he also took the time to capture headshots of our students, which was such a special experience for them.

We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and the way they brought the magic of Peter Pan to life on stage. Well done to everyone involved!
