Congratulations to our LS9 students who enjoyed their last forest school session last week. They were joined by some keen members of the Level 2 program and thanks to Miss Zaraat’s support they were able to try kayaking for the first time.

The students taking part in the forest school sessions with Pheonix Centre have really grown in confidence and self-esteem and have learned many skills such as building fires, how to make wooden furniture using ropes and sticks, tree swings, creating an obstacle course, making woodland shelters, identifying wild flowers, finding items in the woods on a scavenger hunt and playing a lot of hide and seek!!!

It was an amazing opportunity for this group. Many thanks to all staff who helped organising the event.
