The ACS Talent Show on Thursday, December 5th, was an extraordinary celebration of creativity and talent, featuring remarkable performances from students across Years 7 to 11. The evening was filled with awe-inspiring acts that showcased the diverse skills and dedication of our students.

Year 11’s band set the stage ablaze with Cassie on vocals, Anaiya on drums, and Velan on acoustic guitar, delivering a sensational performance that left the audience buzzing. Sarani’s calming violin solo reflected her remarkable journey of progress from Year 7 to now, where she confidently plays entire pieces solo.

Sophia wowed us with a magic show that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, while the enthusiastic Year 7 students kicked off the show with an energetic djembe performance that echoed through the hall.

The choir, comprising students from Years 7 to 11, brought the festive spirit with a heart-warming performance, followed by Alexandria’s exquisite piano solo of Silent Night. Yasin brought a touch of Spain to the stage with a spellbinding Spanish Guitar rendition on the piano.

Vittoria and Konstantina’s duet of In the Stars was met with roaring applause as the audience cheered on their fantastic debut. Kyshani’s powerhouse rendition of Grenade hit all the high notes with confidence and grace.

Raya, known for her work behind the scenes on lighting, unveiled a hidden talent with a live abstract painting created in just 20 minutes. Her art beautifully captured the emotion of the evening as we watched it come to life.

Sophie, a Year 8 student, left the judges stunned with her mesmerizing vocal performance of Good Luck Babe. Sisters Diya and Mahi, in breath-taking cultural attire, performed an enchanting traditional dance in perfect harmony, earning them second place.

The top honour of the evening went to Milo and Joshua, a Year 9 duo who delivered a captivating rendition of Pompeii with Milo on piano and Joshua on drums, securing first place with their electrifying synergy.

Hosts Siya and Kavya were the heart of the event, keeping the audience engaged with their witty banter and enthusiastic introductions, making this year’s talent show the best one yet!
