Yesterday we welcomed to our school 30 primary and secondary colleagues to the inaugural NPQLBC Conference at Alperton Community School.
We are pleased to say that Alperton Community School is the lead school across Brent, Barnet and Enfield for the delivery of the National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour and Culture. The first training session on Tuesday that took place at our Ealing Road school will be followed by 6 two hour sessions for the remainder of the year. (more…)
Our Year 8 Netball Team played Queens Park High School last night at home and won 12-8.
Overall it was a fantastic display of individual talent and we look forward to seeing them play again soon.

Back in May three of our students were selected to model for a public art sculpture for the new Grand Union Canal Development in Alperton. The sculpture will be prominently located just off Beresford Avenue and outside the new community centre and aims to inspire and celebrate the area and people of Alperton. (more…)
Congratulations to our year 12 student Nicholas for his input in selecting a name for a new project run by the MIND charity, a mental health charity that provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
MIND got in touch with ACS to do a market research to rename their Limit Loneliness project, which aims to combat isolation in young people and adults aged 16 to 25. Their aim is to offer young adults the tools and interventions to overcome feelings of loneliness.
ACS have been working with a company called ‘Arrival Education’ for several years with a number of our Year 12 students. They run development programmes for students by many of the UK’s leading businesses and their aim is to bridge the gap between ambitious socially and ethnically diverse talent through delivering high quality, high impact experiences. Thanks to the charity Artists in Residents and The Lindon Gallery, on Wednesday 17 November staff and students of Alperton Community School had the rare opportunity to experience first hand the artwork ‘Sydney‘ of the celebrated artist Sam Gilliam.
On Wednesday, 9th November, 2021, Alperton Community School invited a number of local businesses to have ‘breakfast’ at our Ealing Road school and to network and discuss various career opportunities with our students, reach out to the local community and continue to build sustainable relationships with local employers.
