On Monday 1st July 2024, celebrated author, Janice Hallett, delivered two brilliant workshops for our Year 9 students at our Ealing Road library. Janice Hallett is a local author on the world stage for her many novels, and was particularly excited about coming to visit us because we share the namesake of this wonderful town –Ā Alperton.
Known for her gripping mystery novels and unique storytelling style, Janice captivated the audience as she shared the inspiration behind her most recent book: āThe Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angelsā.
During the workshops, Hallett and a spiritedĀ group of Y9 students engaged with the novel, exploring some of the very sensitive and important aspects of the text that have made it such a memorable and moving story.
