On 2 October we were delighted to host our annual EAL Induction Celebration evening at our Ealing Road school. A high number of parents turned up for the event to celebrate with their children the completion of a two-week induction programme that took place in September.
During the programme, students were taught key language skills to help them meet the demands of secondary school. The Headteacher awarded students with certificates and parents were communicated key information regarding school expectations in their first language, to ensure everyone understood the information given to them.
Following the event we received very positive feedback from parents and students alike. They said the evening was very informative and they really enjoy being part of our school community.
