Alperton GCSE French students participated in a cultural exchange this week with students and teachers from the Collège de l’Étang de l’Or in Montpellier, France.
After touring the school, the French students joined a Year 10 class and participated in multilingual conversations to compare and contrast life in the UK and France. The students quickly overcame the initial shyness and engaged in conversations that continued well into break!
The visit was also a great chance for our French colleagues to observe teaching and learning at Alperton. They were particularly struck by our student-centred approach and positive use of display. Thank you to Ms Manderson for organizing the link and to Mr Delizioglou for leading the activities in the lesson.
