Between 29th Jan and 2nd February our science teacher Dr Mahmoud organised and run the Intermediate Physics challenge with over 91 of our pupils from Yr8 to Yr11. The results have been released and as a school we did really well, as we did in the Astro Olympiad competition last autumn. Please see below the breakdown of our results:
Gold Award: 5 pupils
Silver Award: 20 pupils
Bronze: 46 pupils
Commendation: 20 pupils
Overall our pupils have done really well by taking part in a problem solving challenge that is sat across the UK. At ACS we have a rich and diverse enrichment and extracurricular programme in science and other subjects for our students to enjoy and explore as they make their way from Yr7 to Yr13.
