The music GCSE group along with some talented year 9 students attended a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No.2 as part of a Philharmonic Orchestra performance titled Transcendences. The music was thought provoking and emotive. The students gasped at the sights of the Royal Albert Hall and the streets of Kensington as they took in the sights.
At the end of the performance, which received a standing ovation, a few audience members took the time to come over to congratulate our students on their impeccable behaviour throughout the 2 hour sitting.
