For the past few weeks Alperton Community School has been collecting donations from staff and students for the British Asian Trust to support the people of India with the devastating impact of COVID-19.
OxygenForIndia is a volunteer-run campaign to deliver lifesaving medical oxygen to those who need it the most, as quickly as possible.

Please see below a letter from the Chief Executive of British Asian Trust to our Headteacher, Mr McKenna, expressing his gratitude for our contributions.
Dear Mr McKenna,
I wanted to write to you personally, to say thank you so much for your incredibly kind donation, on behalf of the students of Alperton Community School, towards our India Emergency Appeal.
The situation in India has been absolutely heart-breaking and we are doing everything we can to help people right now and as they start to rebuild their lives.
We can only do this if we receive donations such as yours. We are extremely grateful to you for your generosity.
Many thanks, once again.
Best wishes,
Richard Hawkes
Chief Executive
