Last week we had the privilege of welcoming to our school the director Michael Attenborough CBE, who came to work with our students on a series of workshops based on Shakespeare’s life and work.
During the workshops Michael shared many insights and personal stories with the students about his production of Macbeth in Australia and about his experience of working with a number of notable actors on this production.
He and the students also did a reading of Macbeth and Michael helped them better understand the play and its meanings. Many thanks once again to Artists in Residence for organising another special event for our school.
