On Friday 26 April, our year 10 textiles students participated in a series of workshops with the Celebrity Make-up artist and stylist Cinta Miller. The workshops were organised by the Artists in Residence charity run by our art and textiles teacher Andria Zafirakou, winner of the Global Teacher Prize winner 2018.
The workshops encouraged sustainable fashion and the students were taught how to create garments from recycled materials. Some of the students will be attending London Fashion Week next year so this project was a great source of inspiration for them. Many thanks to Artists in Residence for organising this great event.
