We are delighted to welcome to our school community our new Headteacher Mr Christopher Dixon. Please see below his letter of welcome to all parents and carers:

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am delighted to have been appointed as the new headteacher of Alperton Community School, and I am very much looking forward to getting to know all our students, parents, carers and staff.

I first visited Alperton Community School in May this year, and was immediately struck by the welcome, culture and drive of the School, evidenced by the exemplary behaviour of students, the dedication of staff, and of course the exceptional progress our students make.

My experiences of working in community schools across London and Surrey, and particularly my experience as a senior leader for the last 10 years, have instilled in me the importance of developing and maintaining a collaborative and positive relationship with parents and the community. I know that a successful and happy school relies on all of us working together. As parents and carers, you make an important contribution to your children’s achievements, and I’m excited to build on the relationship between you and the School. I am proud of the positive impact on the culture and progress I had within the schools I have worked in and look forward to continuing this work as headteacher at Alperton Community School.

I look forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming Parent Information Evenings (PIEs) over the coming term. By working together we will support your child to:

  • Have a passion for learning and inspire them to be the very best they can be.
  • Achieve their academic potential.
  • Have a wide range of experiences, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Grow into happy, confident, resilient and articulate young people.
  • Leave Alperton Community School equipped to lead fulfilling lives and make a positive contribution to our local community and society.

Yours faithfully,

Mr C Dixon
