On sunday, 2nd July our students participated in the Women’s Soft Ball Cricket festival at Actonians CC celebrating the Women’s Cricket World Cup being held in England this season.
The ECB in partnership with County Boards are launching 180 FREE women-only soft ball festivals across the country, where you can join to play some “fast, fun and fabulous cricket” with a soft ball.
Our students had a fantastic time playing soft ball and amazingly they won against the staff. There were also plenty other activities for children, music and food.
Our participant students received a cricket bag and a full kit as they scored a number of 4 and 6 during the competition.
