Congratulations to our year 12 student Nicholas for his input in selecting a name for a new project run by the MIND charity, a mental health charity that provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
MIND got in touch with ACS to do a market research to rename their Limit Loneliness project, which aims to combat isolation in young people and adults aged 16 to 25. Their aim is to offer young adults the tools and interventions to overcome feelings of loneliness.
Our Year 12 English class submitted their responses and Nicholas Jeffrey-Smart in Year 12 came up with Y.A.N.A (You Are Not Alone) and his idea has been chosen by the charity as the new name of the project!
