The Drama Department is thrilled to have been selected for the prestigious Kiln Residency this year. As part of this exciting opportunity, the department welcomed Emma Kingston, a renowned West End actor, this Thursday to work with the Year 10 cohort. Emma, celebrated for her starring roles in Heathers: The Musical and Les Misérables, brought incredible energy to a dynamic workshop that featured student rap battles.
The workshop aimed to bring the students together and build their confidence, and the results were outstanding. Emma had endless compliments for our wonderful cohort, particularly for Abdulrahman and Jack, for their exceptional confidence and impressive rap performances.
A special thank you goes to their teacher, Yamuna Lakhani, for her dedication and hard work in supporting this workshop and the ongoing residency.
