Our English team was thrilled to welcome to our school The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) on 16th October to deliver a wonderful performance of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ to our Year 9 students.
LAMDA’s adaptation of the Bard’s fascinating play was stylish, powerful and truly memorable, and most importantly, this experience will support students’ Shakespeare studies during the summer term, when they will explore Shakespeare in Performance.
Thank you to LAMDA for delivering such a thrilling show; the students were amazingly engaged from start to finish.
‘O wonder! / How many goodly creatures are there here! / How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world / That has such people in’t!’ (5.1, ‘The Tempest’)
